This tour has been designed for people wishing to have a short visiting of Iran Desert “Dashte-e Kavir” among Iran classic route, on the way from North to South “ between Esfahan to Yazd”or visversa. Instead of visiting Iran central desert, there are many attractions between Esfahan in Yazd before and after travelling to the desert. So when you are coming from one of the most urban of Tehran, Esfahan or Yazd to the desert we consider to stop in spots and get the feeling of the small town and also when you finished the journey in the desert and travelling to one of those destinations you will have explored on the way as well. In the desert you off road driving with 4x4 vehicles in the heart of the desert and visiting some spots and sand dune and sunset in the view point in the heart of the desert.
In the desert there is an opportunity to touch the stars in the clear sky, or watch the mysterious moon in the silence. A chance to watch the astonishing view of sunset without any human made hurdle. A possibility to see wild camels pacing on the sand dunes. On this tour one can taste local foods and associate with aboriginal people. There are many historical sites to see and activities to do. The accommodation is a cozy guest house that would give you the feeling of staying at your own home. Visiting Meybod and Na’in historical city along with Anarak old town. Visiting Salt Lake, Mesr and Farahzaad oasis in the heart of the desert and travelling to a viewpoint for watching sunset. If you wake up in the early morning, you will have the chance to watch the desert’s amazing sunrise as well.

Day 1: Drive to Central desert
Based on your origin you have the choice to be picked up from Tehran, Yazd or Esfahan and explore some spots & sites on the way to desert. The following options are available to choose:

Option A: Yazd to Central Desert (Meybod, Chak Chak)
After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to the old city of Meybod to visit the 16th Century Naarin Qal-eh complex which was used as a caravanserai, relay station, water reservoir and ice production and storage center. We will have lunch there and then head towards the Zoroastrian sacred waters and the temple center (the world's Zoroastrian halidom) called Chak Chak (which means drip by drip as the water comes through the rock formations of the mountain side). The views are spectacular. There will be plenty of time to get out of the vehicle and take some photos. Afterwards we drive to the Kharanagh historical village and see the remains of a castle and the architecture of the village. We will proceed in the late afternoon towards the oasis where we will spend the night in a guest house enjoying a friendly family style hospitality for the evening. (D)

Option B: Esfahan to Central Desert (Nai'n & Anarak)
The journey will start from Esfahan historic city. After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to the historical city of Na'in for visiting a historic mosque, anthropology museum and Narin castle. Following Na'in, we will leave for Anarak town which is located at the starting point of Iran central desert. In Anarak there is a tower and museum and old part of the town is interesting, so would be the place of our next stop. After short visiting the town, we will proceed in the late afternoon to the oasis where we will spend the night in a guest house and enjoying a friendly and family style hospitality for the evening. (D)

Option C: Tehran to Central Desert (Nai'n & Anarak)
The journey will start from Tehran around midnight to Na'in (450 Km). You will be picked up from your hotel at 11 pm towards to the bus terminal for travelling to Na'in. We provide VIP night bus ticket from Tehran to Na'in. You sleep well on the night bus and you will arrive around 6-7 am in the historical city of Na'in. Our driver will pick you up from the bus terminal and your one day exploring starts from the old town towards the Central Desert. We will visit a historic mosque, anthropology museum and Narin castle. We will have lunch there and following Na'in, we will leave for Anarak town which is located at the starting point of Iran central desert. In Anarak there is a tower and museum and old part of the town is interesting, so would be the place of our next stop. After short visiting the town, we will proceed in the late afternoon to the oasis where we will spend the night in a guest house and enjoying a friendly and family style hospitality for the evening. (D)

Day 2: 4X4 OFF ROAD DESERT TOUR -After breakfast in the guest house you have time to walk around the oasis and enjoy the silence of the oasis and the desert as well. After lunch your 4x4 off rod desert tour will start towards the heart of the desert. We will visit the spectacular shapes of salt and walk around the lake. After photography and spending some time in the salt lake we will drive the sand dune. Afterwards the driver drop us off in a point to view the sunset. We have time for walking on sand dunes around the viewpoint. We will go for photography at sunset time and then drive back to the guesthouse for dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Departure date: After breakfast we will pack our backpacks and depart to continue the journey. Depending to the destination you are travelling for you will continue the journey with the one of the following option (B, L)

Option A: Khur to Yazd (Meybod, Chak Chak & Kharanagh)
Our vehicle will drive us to Yazd. We will have lunch on the road and will drive to the Kharanagh historical village, Chak Chak fire temple (the world's Zoroastrian halidom) and the old city of Meybod to visit the 16th Century Marian Qal-eh, the Narin castle complex, caravanserai, post house, water reservoir, ice house and storage center and also some old handicraft shops run by local people making fabrics and clays. Finally we will drive toward Yazd historical city. We will be there around late afternoon.

Option B: Khur to Esfahan (Nai'n & Anarak)
Our vehicle will arrive to pick us up and drive to Esfahan. We will have lunch on the road. We will visit Anarak and the old city of Na'in to visit the old mosque, Narin castle and museum. Later we will drive towards Esfahan historic city. We will be there around late afternoon.

Option C: Khur to Tehran with night bus
Most of the bus leaves Khur in the late afternoon, so you will have time to hang around the oasis and you will have lunch there. Then you picked up from the guest house to Khur bus terminal by a private car. The VIP night bus ticket is available for those who would like to go to Tehran. You will arrive Tehran's south terminal in the morning.

Important Note:
Deviating from this itinerary is unpreventable sometimes due to weather conditions, seasonal changes, frequency of visits to a village or for any other factor which may influence our travel times and schedules. Furthermore, this is the tight itinerary and sometimes we must skip a place or two depending on the season.
